Toyota Highlander 2025: Changes, Interior, Pictures.

Toyota Highlander 2025: Changes, Interior, Pictures. While most people focus on the grandiose design of the 2025 Grand Highlander, many seem to overlook the 2025 Toyota Highlander. Yes, Highlander still exists, and it is still created. It appears that the excitement over more features and technology for the Grand Highlander has caused people to ‘forget’ about the Highlander’s existence. So, what can we expect from the Highlander in 2025?

Performance and Powertrain

The Highlander would come standard with a four-cylinder turbocharged engine with a displacement of 2.4 litres. It has a power output of 265 horsepower and a torque output of 310 Nm. It would be combined with an automatic eight-speed transmission. The usual system is front wheel drive, however all wheel drive is also available as an option.

The Outside Appearance

If the 2025 Toyota Highlander is actually a carryover model, it will retain the same exterior design as the currently on-sale variant. This SUV has a nice (conservative and) classic style with an oval grille, swept back headlamps that travel (halfway) up to the hood, and a narrow air inlet. This midsize car has a rounded back with a nice rear bumper, rear fender arches with cutouts, and triangular taillights.

Expect some extra embellishments on the sporty XSE trim level. There would be a massive front air intake, a large rear spoiler, a hefty rear diffuser, and a more aggressive stylistic design and body kit.

The Inside Cabin

Highlander would still have a nice and cosy cabin, but the design would vary based on trim level. However, the contrasts will not be excessive or grandiose. All trim levels would have a Y-shaped dash with angular trim and a tiered look. Both the HVAC controls and the infotainment system would be merged into a single trim piece on the dashboard, giving the centre screen the appearance of being on the upper side of the dash. The higher trims would have a larger screen and a more modern design.

This midsize SUV seats eight passengers and has plenty of cargo space as well as luxury materials. In terms of interior design, the Highlander 2025 model is anticipated to be the same as the current one.

Technology is an important component of the new Highlander enhancement. The current model features an 8.0-inch touchscreen display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, satellite radio, a 7.0-inch (digital) instrument cluster, Bluetooth, WiFi hotspot, six audio speakers, and five USB ports. Hopefully, they will be the benchmarks for the 2025 model.

The Revised Strategy

Toyota has already given the Highlander a major facelift for the 2023 model year. There isn’t much to accomplish with the 2025 model because it already has new technology features and an upgraded new engine. It also implies that the 2025 model will most likely be a carryover model, with no significant changes.

Price and release date

This midsize SUV’s competitors include the Nissan Pathfinder, Jeep Grand Cherokee L, Subaru Ascent, Kia Telluride, Mazda CX-9, and Hyundai Palisade. We can only anticipate and assume the pricing and release date because there is no specific and official release. The 2023 Highlander was released in the fall of 2022, thus it’s only natural to anticipate the 2025 Highlander in the fall of 2023.

If the Highlander does not receive any significant improvements, the pricing range should be close to the existing one. The current price range is between $38,000 to $50,500. We should learn more about the 2025 Toyota Highlander before it goes on sale.
